Students receive an overview of computer-based systems, the development of these systems and the e-Business environment. It also examines the legal and regulatory issues (security authentication, privacy-encryption, safeguarding of intellectual property rights, acceptable use policies and legal liabilities) associated with e-Business. Case studies are used to investigate successful and unsuccessful e-Business practices.
