This course focuses on the best methods of instruction in the elementary grade social studies, i.e. in history, geography, cultural anthropology, political science/civics and economics. The course will familiarize the student with the required social studies content as outlined in the Hawaii State Standards. This is primarily a methods course, but attention will be paid to mastery of the content areas as well. Required: 10 hours of O&P Prerequisites: Pass Praxis I, ED220, ED221, ED222, ED223, ED320, ED322, ED324
