You will learn the cultural, institutional and economic components of the network enterprise and how the informational society continues to transform work and employment. The course will include in-depth discussions about the geography and uses of the Internet and its role in shaping global political, social and economic realities. This course offers you a chance to develop a macro view of the continuing global evolution of the network society and its larger impacts and potential consequences. Co-requisite: ITM 300.
