Examines the strategic planning, organizing and administration of the information technology function in the organization. You will learn to plan, design and implement complex IT systems; and the management and administrative support requirements for successful IT administration. Topics will include the design, integration and implementation of technically complex and geographically diverse systems, the strategic uses of information and information technologies, global and cultural implications, network-based systems, information security and integrity, cultural variables and corporate-level IT management. Co-requisite: ITM 300.
