Introduces the concepts and techniques necessary to incorporate database applications and content into Web pages. The World Wide Web has become an important vehicle for networked database applications. Topics to be covered include an overview of DBMS (database management systems) technologies, using HTML forms to access server-side databases, and "front-end" database developmenttools for the Web. Tools such as Oracle, ColdFusion, IntraDev and IntraBuilder will be discussed. Prerequisite: ITM 304.
