Combines theoretical concepts underlying the presentation of financial statements with the practical techniques of financial analysis. Topics include accounting processes; examination of the components of the balance sheet, the income statement and the statement of cash flows; application of the various quantitative techniques of financial analysis, such as ratio interpretation and EPS evaluation; and the meaning and significance of the auditor's opinion.
