Through lectures, presentations, readings, discussions, and case analysis, you will overview the consulting industry, professional standards, and ethical responsibilities of the Certified Public Accountant. Using forensic services, assurance services, and performance measurement services as examples of these opportunities, the student will move beyond the traditional audit and tax roles of the accountant. Prerequisites: ACCTG 100B or FI 300 or consent of the department.
