Students will apply the knowledge of vocabulary and syntax acquired in LAT 211 to readings chosen for their cultural value and interest. Emphasis will be on in-depth reading and analysis. Dictionary skills will be reinforced, allowing students to challenge themselves with texts of varying levels of complexity. Practice sessions in the department's computer laboratory will supplement classroom instruction as appropriate. Prerequisite: LAT 211 or permission of the instructor
