Continuing study to complement the linguistic and cultural knowledge acquired in Basic Italian. Ongoing review; practice with newly taught structural patterns will provide a more comprehensive grasp of the language from an interactive perspective and will allow the student to gain facility in written expression and increased global awareness. Practice sessions in the department's computer laboratory with regular use of computer-mediated conferencing will supplement classroom instruction. Prerequisite: ITA 112
