The major goals for the students are, first, to read literature with a more developed critical ability and, second, to be able to write a short research paper. (In both reading and writing, students are expected to do more than in 205H.) The students will read a number of different forms and genres of literature. This course satisfies the second year of the English requirement. Prerequisite: Permission of the English Honors coordinator
