A course that explores the functions of and use of marketing research. Topics include research design and implementation, data collection using primary and secondary sources, the design of information collection techniques including focus groups, surveys, and interviews. Students will also learn how to analyze the information once it is gathered and how to organize and prioritize it for presentation to the client.
