This course is focused on writing concepts and techniques using classic structural elements of scripts, formats, different types of scripts for feature films, TV sitcom, commercial, animation, and the stage. Principles such as plot, structure, character, conflict, crisis, climax, exposition, and dialogue will be introduced. Each student will explore a new screenplay or work on a draft of a work-in-progress and receive feedback. Prerequisites: ART 135, ENG 204 or equivalent
