Through a combination of lectures, laboratories, field trips and independent research projects, this course will provide a general overview of the many aspects of vertebrate biology to include: comparative anatomy of the vertebrates, function of organ systems, developmental pathways, evolution, physiological, ecological and behavioral adaptations.
