The first in the series of courses in the development of instructional approaches for secondary education students. The primary focus is on the knowledge and performance of basic lesson planning and assessment, plus general teaching and classroom management skills. Related areas include, but are not limited to, cooperative learning strategies, classroom management, questioning techniques, and adapting lessons for the needs of special learners. This is part of the initial block of T2T courses. Prerequisite: Admission to the program.
