The first of two semester courses in developing instructional strategies for middle/high school pre-service teachers. The primary focus is meeting the multiple needs of learners while continuing to develop skills related to lesson planning that meet state and national standards. Topics emphasized will be teaming, integration of disciplines, multiple intelligence, multicultural education, learning styles, collaborative learning, and Bloom's taxonomy. In addition, the most current assessment tools will be discussed, considered, and developed. A technology component is included. Taken concurrently with TFE 384. Prerequisite: Satisfactory completion of the initial block of T2T courses.
