An introduction to American elementary, middle, and high school education designed to help students explore teaching as a career. Course content includes history, theories, and philosophies that influence current educational practice. Students will examine research relevant to key issues facing American schools in the 21st century. Students will have an opportunity to compare and contrast philosophies of education and to develop his/her own. This is part of the initial block of T2T courses. Prerequisite: Admission to the program.
