A study of the history and philosophy of mathematics establishes a frame within which students prepare for the senior competency exam. Emphasizes individual and team student presentations. Satisfies the senior year portfolio requirements for graduation. Taken concurrently with MAT 499. Prerequisites: senior standing and departmental consent. Fall.
