Full-day active participation in a music classroom under the supervision of an elementary music teacher, college supervisor and coordinator of field placements. Students participating in a field experience in education are to display the professional dispositions of a competent, caring decision maker as outlined in the Field Experience Manual and the Teacher Education Program Handbook. This course is offered during the winter term and fulfills four hours of the winter term requirement for graduation. Prerequisite: admission to teacher education program and senior status. Graded on a satisfactory/unsatisfactory basis. Winter term, senior year.
