Introduction to the theory and practice of modern analytical instrumentation. Chromatography, quantitative spectrometry, electroanalytical, and computer/instrument interfacing techniques are discussed. Representative samples are analyzed using instrumental methods. One hour lecture, six hours laboratory. Prerequisites: CHE 227, or consent of instructor. Spring, even academic years.
