The course is designed to acquaint students with the basic strategies available to the large corporations and small business ventures for obtaining and deploying funds. Key areas include: time value of money, interest rate determination, types of debt and equity securities, venture capital financing, leverage, capital budgeting techniques, efficient markets, short-term financial management, and business firm valuation. Prerequisites: ECO 115, ACC 221, and ACC 222. Fall.
