Prerequisite: ECO 111or ECO112. This course is unique in the business curriculum, as it is almost completely nontheoretical. Students are required to have a new business concept, and the course walks them through a process of evaluating, refining, and expanding that initial concept into a business plan. The course uses proven materials to equip the student with the essential skills and critical analysis needed to create a successful small business. Students are required to create a written business plan and to present their plan orally to the class.
