Prerequisite: junior or senior standing. The purpose of this course is to develop meaningful insights into museology and both contemporary and historic art expression through direct experience and the examination of a wide variety of art media, methods of installation and exhibition spaces. This goal will be achieved by guided attendance at art exhibitions and installation of art exhibits, augmented by group discussion and the writing of critical reviews.
