Biochemistry II focuses on the anabolic and catabolic reactions of living systems. The pathways and regulation of carbohydrate, lipid, nucleic acid, and protein metabolism are examined. This course concentrates on metagolism and information transfer. Lecture 3 hrs./Lab 2 hrs. weekly. Prerequisite: Grade of C or better in SC 420.
