Option 1: This course is a continuation of Option 1 in EN 474. Students will perform a variety of research tasks aimed at making them more aware of careers outside the field of teaching. These tasks shall include discovering three career paths, observing workplaces, and interviewing successful professionals. The research will culminate in a job application portfolio and an essay describing each student's research experience and discoveries. Option 2: This course is a continuation Option 2 in EN 474, with the first draft of the paper being due in the 4th week of the last semester of the student's program. The final draft is due the 10th week of the same semester. Upon final departmental approval, the paper will be presented in a public venue.
