A 120-hour clinical experience taken concurrently with EM 300 performed in grades 4 and 5 under the supervision of a certified teacher with a minimum of three years experience and the college supervisor. 121 EM 310 Reading and Writing in the Content Areas (Spring) 3 hrs. Provides a foundation for reading and writing instruction where current theory is connected with appropriate practice. Instructional practices, materials, and assessment techniques for enhancing reading, writing, speaking, and listening in various content areas with diverse learners is emphasized.
