This course provides an introduction to the fundamental principles and procedures of financial accounting, including, but not limited to coverage of the following: financial transactions analysis, the accounting cycle, financial statements, and current assets. Emphasis is placed on applying these principles and procedures to businesses organized as proprietorships. Prerequisite: Sophomore status or permission of the instructor.
