Provide students with the skills to read and write scientifi c professional publications and journal articles Course will include reading and discussion of scientifi c principles, ethics, and rationale Students will have instruction and practice in writing about science clearly, accurately, and concisely Students will learn how to produce professional quality publications and journal articles Emphasis will be on the natural sciences Pre-requisites: BIOL 150, 150L - General Biology I and Lab or CHEM 121, 121L - General Chemistry I and Lab and ENGL 110 - College Composition I, or equivalent course Fall, odd years, students strongly advised to complete this course during sophomore or junior year
