Topics include how economies accommodate international trends, privatization of social security (pensions and health care), role of micro enterprises, women in development, and the analysis of selected country studies. Prerequisite: Courses 206 and 230 and 237. Open to junior and senior economics majors and to non-majors with permission of the instructor.
