An introduction to the study of birds. The structure and physiology of birds will be discussed as well as their evolution, classification and behavior. Identification of species and the ecology of birds will be emphasized on field trips. Three lectures; three hours laboratory plus specially scheduled field trips. Prerequisite: Biology 105.
