The course aims to introduce students to the more advanced and recent innovations in fine art printmaking as instrumental in the development of individual expression. Basic printmaking techniques will provide the departing level for each student to find a personal process of expression using the versatile, contemporary methods of photo-etching, the collograph, assemblage and multiple plate printing. Prerequisite: Art 202 or 204.
