This course will integrate aspects of molecular biology, ecology and evolution. Students will explore the use of molecular techniques, including genomics, to address ecological questions through student- designed experiments and critical evaluation of published studies. Students will also discuss the role of molecular ecology in conservation biology and population genetics. Prerequisite: Biology 207 or 208. Enrollment limited to 12 students.
