This is a continuation of 17-120, focusing on the history and origins of life, ecology and the environment, human biology and Mendelian genetics. Emphasis is placed on the integration of these concepts across the physical, chemical and biological disciplines. This course is designed for students requiring a general science class that integrates physics, chemistry, biology and environmental science. Lecture students must also concurrently enroll in 02-123, a weekly lab that reinforces concepts reviewed in the lecture section. This course fulfills the General Education requirement for science. Prerequisite: 17-120, 17-121.
