This is a variable content course that allows students to explore different geographical regions of Spanish America and the ways that authors have used literature to preserve, recreate, revise, subvert, and even contradict their countries' official history. All discussion conducted in Spanish. May be repeated for credit up to three times with different content. Pre: minimum oral proficiency of "Advanced" on the ACTFL scale; at least one prior 4000-level course in Hispanic literature, or consent. (3H,3 Credits).
