Prerequisite: Chemistry, Microbiology, Anatomy, Physiology. This course presents topics in pathophysiology, using a systems approach, as applied to current nursing practice. Selected major health problems, their pathophysiology and medical treatment are discussed. Topics from various scientific and clinical areas will be explored and coordinated with other courses in the nursing program.
