Prerequisites: KINE 214 & KINE 221. This course is a combination of lecture and hands-on lab. It will build on the student's prior knowledge of anatomy and injury recognition. The focus of this course is to assist the student in developing a systematic, thorough method of injury assessment including the development of a medical history, palpitation points, range of motion tests, manual muscle tests, neurological tests, and special tests, The area of focus is the development of a systematic method of injury assessment. This course will focus on the assessment of the lumbar spine, hip and pelvis, knee, lower leg, ankle, and foot.
