This course emphasizes the interaction between spatial pattern and ecological processes with particular attention to 1) spatial relationships among wildlife (plants and animals) and their habitats, 2) spatial and temporal interactions and 3) influences of spatial heterogeneity on biotic and abiotic processes. Prerequisites and Corequisites Prerequisite: 1 biology sequence (either BIOL 151 + 153 or BIOL 161 + 162 + 163 + 164); grades for all prerequisites must be C or better.
