Prerequisites: NURS - 430, NURS - 450. Corequisites: NURS - 461, NURS - 451. This clinical support course focuses on student participation and leadership in seminar discussions related to nursing and selected human responses appropriate to the client base served in the clinical setting of their precepted experience. Examination of the multiplicity of nursing roles and the expanding role of the nurse in a variety of settings are explored. Ethical and legal issues related to the profession of nursing are discussed.
