This core course focuses on the development of the family health clinical and administrative nurse's role in health care planning and policy and the ethical considerations affecting this process. Students will identify ethical dimensions which impact on current health care policy as it relates to family health nursing and its effect on the practice of nursing in general. The concepts of access, quality, and cost containment will be overarching themes in the course discussions.
