Prerequisite: NURS - 783. Corequisite: NURS - 790. This course emphasizes management of internal forces which affect patient care delivery in various settings and throughout the health delivery system. Processes and tools for case management will be analyzed. Students will have an opportunity to learn communication methods for managing groups, teams, and populations. Conflict management, team building, consensus, culture/diversity, organizational growth and stability, project management, and integrating processes will be discussed.
