Description:

Prerequisites: CMPL - 200, ENGL - 390. The capstone seminar will serve to synthesize the various ideas, concepts, approaches, and languages studied throughout the students' program, and introduce them to graduate-level research with writing a senior thesis. Students will look at a variety of fictions, novels, short stories, poems, and films in an attempt to discern how they have both shaped and been shaped by the modern political landscape, perhaps itself a collection of fictions. Offered in the Spring.
