Prerequisites: High school chemistry, physics, algebra (two years), and trigonometry; SAT Math 480 or ACT Math 20 or USF Placement Math 19 or CHEM 001 with a minimum grade of C. A study of the fundamental chemical principles which are necessary for understanding the composition and properties of matter and the changes which it undergoes. Three lectures and one laboratory period weekly. Offered every Fall.
