An introduction to the accomplishments of the ancient inhabitants of Mesoamerica (Mexico, Guatemala, Belize, Honduras, and El Salvador). The course focuses on the achievements of the Olmecs, Mayas, Toltecs, and others in the areas of art, ideology, writing, calendrics, mathematics, and politics.
