(4 Hrs) Students integrate knowledge of anatomy and surgical routines to general, gynecologic, genitourinary, and otorhinolaryngogic specialty procedures. Clinical decision-making is discussed in relation to the supplies, equipment, instrumentation, and sequence of the procedure. Students investigate diagnostics, pathology and expected patient outcomes as related to perioperative patient care. Concepts of ambulatory surgery and minimally invasive modalities are incorporated.
