(3 Hrs) This course focuses on the healthcare needs of children. The roles of the pediatric nurse in health promotion, health maintenance and health restoration are examined. Developmental and family-centered nursing care concepts are integrated with knowledge from the sciences and humanities to identify nursing care needs of children and their families.
