(3 Hrs) Advanced class picks up where Surround Sound, Audio for Film & Video, Advanced Music Theory, Film Score - Emotion via Orchestration & Arrangement leaves off. Sweetening, Sound FX, ADR (Automatic Dialog Replacement), advanced automation techniques in the filmscore studio, advanced concepts of audio sweetening and mixdown. Learning how to build effective post scores/mixes through critical listening and practical exercises. Advanced outboard processing for filmscore. Basic DVD authoring techniques will also be covered. Prerequisite: MUSC 230
