Prerequisites: BUS 311 An examination of the legal framework within which formalized (unionized) labor-management processes operate (in private and public sectors), including initial organization of labor union representation and subsequent development and management of collective bargaining and grievance processes. Also considered are effects of these processes on organizational effectiveness as it relates to outcomes for stakeholders including labor, management, owners and shareholders, customers or clients and the larger communities within which the organization operates.
