Taking the voice as a fundamental element of performance, this course will introduce various techniques and methods designed to release the full vocal potential of the individual student. Through the use of visual imagery as well as text, students will explore the human impulses for sound and will work to achieve an increased sense of physical presence in performance. (This course has been replaced by Theater and Dance 235.) Prerequisite: C- or better in Theater and Dance 107 or 108. 1.00 units, Laboratory
