An introduction to the language of photography through basic black and white techniques. Film developing, contact printing, and enlarging will serve as a vehicle for learning to articulate our ideas in visual terms. Access to 35mm camera with the following characteristics is required: A 50mm "normal" lens, manual focus and exposure capabilities.
