Although designed to follow Spanish 291: Introduction to Spanish Literature I, either course may be taken independently. The major literary movements of the 19th and 20th centuries will be studied and discussed against the historical background of the times. Selected readings from some of the greatest authors will include most genres. Either 291 or 292 must be taken to satisfy the requirements of the Spanish major. Conducted in Spanish.
