The study of the revolutionary impulse in poetry, criticism, and essays between the years 1788 and 1832 in England. Readings will include women writers as well as traditional male authors. Emphasis will be on Wollstonecraft, Blake, William and Dorothy Wordsworth, Coleridge, Percy and Mary Shelley, and Keats.
